for our friends the animals,
especially for those who are suffering
for any that are lost or deserted
or frightened or hungry.
We entreat for them all
Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them,
we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves,
to be true friends to animals
and so to share the blessings
of the merciful.

    For 21 years she devoted her life to raising our children. When those children were grown and out on their own, she devoted her every waking hour to caring for, and loving, M'Lady and Me.  We miss her and look forward to the time when we shall be reunited with our little girl at Rainbow Bridge.   Read our page in Tribute to Princess Ebony.

Our photo section has been limited in the past, but now that Buddy has trained the Webmaster in the ways and use of the digital camera, we have added many new pictures, as well as many articles, verse and stories.     On this, our Homepage, we have listed a few highlights of the site you might find of special interest. *Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 - Today's Buddy Note:  The Large One is dragging himself around agin.  I had to sneak in when Miki done tooked him down the hall for tea and some scritchy scratch.  Is not da Large One's fault.  Him had a fights with a box or somebodything other day and slapped it wif the back of his right paw.  Oh, an da Gurl Kitty, Smokey made accidental like and scritched him on da back of da same paw when he sneaked up on her and skeeret her.  She wuz sorries when she seed it were himself.  Large One be OK and arrite soon like. 
    Firs thing I wants to do is to drops the invitation to read along, and view the piktures too, at da recently updated 'Verse & Things' web site.   Our Voting Page needs your daily visit and votes to keep us in the running on the Top Sites Lists I is a member of. 
    Hey it be da holidays agin, and las night we had below da freezin point on da big thermemometer thingie.  I wants to reminds you iffin you has outside kitties like what we got with Smokey and Spooky, our Cat Porch residents, and da feral resident we calls 'Yellow Kitty', then you needs to make sures they has warm dry places to sleeps and snuggles down when it raining outside.  Be sure to check and freshen up the water a couple times a day, and, likes da Large One does, keeps a couple sets of dinner bowls fulls of two different flavors of crunchy dindin out all da time.  If yous can't has da kitties in da house, at least gives them a place to stay warm well and well fed.  Everybodies has a very Merry Christmas, or what ever you celebrates, and come visits wif us oftens, OK?                                 *Buddy Bear*
